Donald Trump, “The Donald” as Mrs. Palin calls him, has sent his researchers to Hawaii to discover whether or not President Obama was really born in Hawaii in 1961. He says that they are finding really interesting things.
There are people on Fox News most days saying that Pres. Obama’s birth certificate that is online is not the real thing because is isn’t the long form.
Now I would love for “The Donald” to pay me to go to Hawaii for some “research” but I was able to do it right here at home in AZ and found very interesting information myself.
Now here is President Obama’s Birth Certificate that has been online since 2008 when he was running for President. If you notice in the bottom left hand corner is says “Revised 11/01”. Meaning that this was not the certificate issued to his mother/father in 1961 but a requested new copy of the certificate that was issued after the date of November 2001.
I moved around a lot as a child and as an adult and I can tell you that sometimes you just misplace the original and have to request a new one. I am on my 7th copy of my birth certificate as it keeps going missing after each move. And I have had to order new ones for some of my children as well. So requesting a new one is not something that only people that have something to hide may do, but something that people that move around often may have to do.
The Hawaii Home Lands Office’s website states in plain English that:
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands accepts both Certificates of Live Birth (original birth certificate) and Certifications of Live Birth because they are official government records documenting an individual’s birth. The Certificate of Live Birth generally has more information which is useful for genealogical purposes as compared to the Certification of Live Birth which is a computer-generated printout that provides specific details of a person’s birth. Although original birth certificates (Certificates of Live Birth) are preferred for their greater detail, the State Department of Health (DOH) no longer issues Certificates of Live Birth. When a request is made for a copy of a birth certificate, the DOH issues a Certification of Live Birth.
Now if you noticed in that second to last line that Hawaii no longer issues the Certificates of Live Birth and that now if you ask for a copy of a birth certificate that you are only going to get the Certification of Live Birth and you realized from the top image that Obama obviously requested a new copy after 2001 there is a good chance that what he has given to the public to satisfy the requirements of President is in fact the only birth certificate that he could have…you would realize that he is in fact a citizen of America.
And you would realize that all these “birther” folks are just too hard headed to face the facts because they simply don’t like the results and figure if you doubt something you don’t want to hear long enough and loud enough then maybe others will believe you, even when there is proof otherwise.
